IQA
The Institute of Automotive Quality (IQA) is a certifying non-profit body operating within the automotive sector. Also, a partner of international bodies and accredited by National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO), the IQA operates within the areas of Automotive Services Certification, Certification and Accreditation of Products, Certification of Management Systems, Publications and Courses. The products of Tires / Wheels, Safety Glasses, Fifth Wheel (King Pin), Shock Absorbers Steel Cylinders (Natural Gas Vehicle) Brake Fluid, Brake Pads Coolants, Head/Rear lamps, Auxiliary Lamps, Helmets, etc are covered.
INMETRO was created by law in December, 1973, to support t Brazilian enterprises, to increase their productivity and the quality of goods and services. Its major task is to improve the quality of life of the ordinary citizen as well as to seek the competitiveness of the economy through metrology and quality.
