The Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium (TARC) was featured at AutoTronics Taipei 2026 from April 14 to 17. The TARC Pavilion partnered with 28 companies to showcase 10 innovative achievements focused on "AI Automated" and "New Energy of EV." Among the highlights, the Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC) presented an "AI-Driven Multimodal Smart Cabin" and a "High-Efficiency Hydrogen Refrigeration System," demonstrating Taiwan’s robust capabilities in integrating its smart automotive electronics supply chain and enhancing global competitiveness.
Hosted by ARTC, the "APEC Forum on Intelligent Vehicle" concluded successfully following two days of intensive sessions held on April 8–9, 2026. This prestigious event brought together official representatives, industry experts, and technical leaders from 11 APEC economies to explore emerging opportunities within the global automotive industry's transformation from a macro perspective.
The forum established a platform for profound cross-regional dialogue, centered on core themes such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous driving regulations, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), cybersecurity, and advanced technology verification.
Through practical exchanges among the 11 economies, the event not only strengthened the alignment of regulations, technologies, and standards within the Asia-Pacific region but also showcased Taiwan’s pivotal influence in the field of intelligent vehicle R&D and testing. Ultimately, this forum has laid a solid foundation for enhancing regional supply chain resilience and promoting a sustainable transportation ecosystem.
