The Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium (TARC) Pavilion, organized by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), Ministry of Economic Affairs, made a grand appearance at the 2035 E-Mobility Taiwan, Asia’s most influential mobility event, held from April 23 to 26, 2025. The exhibition featured collaborations between domestic research institutions and 28 companies, showcasing 18 innovative achievements in AI-driven and electrified mobility. A highlight of the pavilion was the "Level 3 AI Autonomous Driving and Cybersecurity Integration System," developed in collaboration with leading companies such as Elan Microelectronics, Otobrite, Cubtek, ASUS, DFI , Arcadyan, Chimei Motor Electronics, and Rotatech. This effort exemplifies Taiwan’s robust capabilities in integrating its smart automotive electronics industry chain and enhancing global competitiveness.
The Level 3 autonomous electric bus developed by ARTC was awarded the Bronze Prize at the 2025 Edison Awards, widely known as the “Oscars of Innovation.” The vehicle integrates advanced perception technologies, enabling autonomous obstacle avoidance and driver status monitoring, and is capable of taking over driving tasks in critical moments—significantly enhancing the safety of autonomous vehicles.
