Weather Environmental Test Track

  • Facility Description

  • The test track includes a 200-meter tunnel, a roadway width of 15 meters, and a 300-meter acceleration lane, with acceleration and deceleration sections at both ends. It is equipped with rainfall, fog generation, and lighting test systems.
    1.Rainfall equipment：Rainfall rates of 20 , 40 , 60 , and 100 mm/h
    2.Fogging equipment：Visibility range from 10 to 200 meters
    3.Lighting equipment：Illuminance levels of 200 , 400 , 600 , 800 , 1,200 and 1,600 lux
    4.Backlighting equipment：White light at 5,700 K (simulating morning light) and yellow light at 2,700 K (simulating sunset light)

  • Applications

  • The track provides test scenarios including rainfall, fog, lighting, and backlighting. It supports R&D testing of automotive electronic sensors and components, as well as system integration validation and functional testing for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles.
