Technique Features:

The particles in the fuel will cause rapid wear and failure of injection system, due to the abrasive action of the particles on the high assembly accuracy components of common rail injection system, so the requirement of filtration efficiency and filtration accuracy will be put more importance on. The technique developed a high accuracy “automatic detection system of filtration efficiency of fuel filter” under on international standard (ISO 19438 and SAE J1985), including platform design, system integration and verification technique of filtration efficiency. The maximum accuracy of detecting the particle diameter is 4μm. The number of particles of upstream and downstream of the filter can be detected automatically by the system, and the filtration efficiency can be calculated at the same time. It could assist for filter manufactures or related industry to design and improve products.
