The design of a steering mechanism for varying vehicle roll angle
The novel concept design is to assist the driver in steering and leaning the vehicle for cornering. An electric actuator is controlled by a programmable control unit to roll the front suspension properly according to the steering angle, the vehicle speed, and the roll angle signals for safer cornering. While the vehicle is at stop, the driver need not to move his leg to keep the vehicle balance, this system will balance the vehicle automatically. As a result, the vehicle can stay upright even when it is parked on the uneven road.
Apply to scooters or light vehicles with three or four wheels
The leaning angle range : 0 ~ 20°
The automatic recover mechanism for fail safe
The design can be used in three-wheeled and four-wheeled micro-mobility.
Assist the driver in steering and leaning the vehicle for cornering. Stable the vehicle posture automatically. While the vehicle is at stop, the driver need not to move his leg to keep the vehicle balance. Therefore, the vehicle can be suitable for more people.
