CAN topology and enhanced diagnostic interface design technology
Controller area network (CAN) is one of the main streams in in-vehicle communications. CAN is a distributed network. It features high-transmission rate and high-tolerance of interference by using dual-wire connections. The volume of wiring can be reduced. In-vehicle CAN technology involves Electronic Control Unit design and vehicle communication network design. From ECU design specification, network topology design, to message map arrangement, step by step, CAN technology can met the requirement of in-vehicle signal exchanging and can be adopted as the interface of communications. Enhanced diagnostic interface is a self-diagnostic topology based on the CAN BUS for automotive system. SDK can be used to develop software of enhanced diagnostic interface rapidly.
