Electric Vacuum Booster System, EVB
Provide system integration and control technique for the electric vacuum booster system. The system combines the electric vacuum pump and the vacuum sensor with the electronic control unit (ECU) to produce appropriate negative pressure to make the vacuum booster provide auxiliary brake force. Besides, ECU can detect fail-mode status actively by receiving peripheral sensor signals and provide warning and protection function. The system has significant competitive advantage compared to general commercial products.
1. Max. vacuum:<260mmHg
2. Vacuum pressure accuracy:<5%
3. ECU sleep current:<1mA
4. Active fail detection and fail-safe protection
5. Automotive-grade microcontroller and components
The EVB can be used in electric vehicles (sedan), hybrid vehicles (sedan), and other sedan- type vehicles.
ARTC has established EVB technologies which include intelligence gathering about patents, system architecture, design and development of electronic control units, system control logic design, etc. The establishment can make domestic component manufacturers have capabilities of system integration and master the EVB system technology in early preparation for the upward trend of EV and HEV.
