L2+ Active Safety System
The active safety module integrates surround perception and steering control technologies to perform in-lane evasive maneuvers when a collision risk with an adjacent vehicle is detected. Once the risk is mitigated, control authority is smoothly returned to the driver, significantly enhancing overall driving safety. The integrated active safety controller combines a Driver Monitoring System (DMS) with lane change control, enabling real-time assessment of driver engagement in accordance with UN Regulation No. 171. This approach prevents accidents caused by improper use of ADAS. When the driver is not actively engaged in the driving task, the system automatically decelerates or brings the vehicle to a controlled stop within the current lane to ensure safety. In addition, domestically developed perception modules are introduced to extend the lane change function to full-speed operation up to 120 km/h, improving system robustness and promoting domestic technology adoption.
1.Emergency steering intervention warning; vehicle does not deviate from original lane during intervention.
2.Emergency steering lateral acceleration <0.4g.
3.Lane change longitudinal acceleration <0.5g, lateral acceleration <0.4g, jolt rate <5m/s³.
4.Lane change applicable speed up to 120kph.
This technology can be applied by sensor manufacturers or Tier 1 suppliers aiming to develop systems for active safety applications.
This technology can assist domestic sensor manufacturers or Tier 1 suppliers in evaluating specifications and performance. Based on test results, it enables the optimization of sensor parameters and control algorithms to meet active safety standards. This ensures that domestic automotive electronics manufacturers can supply sensor modules or systems to international markets.
