Emergency Roadside Pull-over technology of Autonomous Vehicle
The emergency roadside pull-over technology of autonomous vehicle integrates driver monitoring systems with external environment perception technology. In the event of unexpected situations, such as system failures, driver health issues, or loss of attention, the vehicle can track the dynamics of surrounding obstacles and automatically guide itself to the roadside or an emergency lane. This ensuring the safety of passengers and surrounding traffic. The system integrates hardware, driver monitoring, decision-making control and HMI, that complies with UN R157 regulations.
1.Applicable Speed ≤ 60 kph
2.Applicable Vehicle :Passenger Car / Bus
3.Applicable Scenarios: Highways, ramps, urban roads, intersections, and similar contexts
4.Lane Detection Range > 40 meters
5.Drivable Space Detection: Forward > 80 meters, Rearward > 55 meters, Lateral > 8 meters
6.Shoulder Lane Change: Lateral acceleration < 4 m/s², Deceleration < 4 m/s³
This system can be applied in self-driving vehicles for the industry of commercial vehicles and buses.
The demand for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies in the automotive market is rapidly increasing. This emergency roadside pull-over technology will assist domestic system integrators in meeting regulatory requirements, driving the further development of the smart electric vehicle industry, and enhancing their competitive advantage in international markets.
