Vehicle Surrounding Heterogeneous Perception Fusion Detection and Tracking Technology

Year:
2024
Category:
Imaged assist technology
Technique Features:

To meet the detection range requirements for autonomous driving functions, the traditional range of 100 meters in front of the vehicle and 8–10 meters around it has gradually expanded to include 55 meters behind the vehicle and over 20 meters on the sides. This technology integrates and deploys multiple sensors through both hardware and software, using sensor fusion. It replaces high-cost LiDAR with more affordable 4D radar to achieve detection capabilities, providing autonomous vehicles with sufficient information for decision-making and control. Additionally, AI multi-task models are developed to identify objects, lane markings, and navigable spaces, enabling the system to avoid vehicles cutting into the lane or assist drivers in lane changes.

Specification:

1.Input voltage range: 24V, 280W

2.Temperature range for operation: -40 ~ 85°C

3.Operation environment: both daytime and nighttime

4.Interface: GMSL/Ethernet/CAN

5.Sensor Specifications: Camera(720P) /Radar(77G Hz)/ 4D Radar or LiDAR(32Layer)

6.Detection Range: 100m front / 20m side/ 70m behind

7.Detect Objects: Objects (pedestrians, bicycles, passenger and freight vehicles, motorcycles), lane markings, and drivable space.

Applications:

This technology can be applied to Level 2~Level 4 self-driving cars, with sensor module synchronization and integration technology.

Benefit:

The technology can make domestic braking component manufacturers have capabilities of system integration, and master the key technologies of synchronous integration modules, meeting the system requirements of Level 2~Level 4 autonomous vehicles.
