Sensor Fusion Detection Technology
Sensor fusion detection technology is used to sense the surrounding environment with sensors for the autonomous vehicles. However, only sensor data is not enough for the autonomous vehicles to operate, and it needs to be multiple sensor fusion detection technology. Due to the limitation of single sensor's environmental sensing, it is necessary to equip multiple sensors to collect the information of the surrounding environment, so that the autonomous vehicles can have enough information for judgment. This technology focuses on the hardware and software integration and deployment of sensors, and uses multiple sensors for fusion. In addition to the information provided by a single sensor, it is necessary to refer to the information of other sensors for integration, and then track the obstacles within the range of interest of its sensing, and output the coordinates and related physical parameters of multiple obstacles.
