Since fuel cells have the characteristics of high volume-energy density and high refueling rate, it is suitable to work with lithium batteries to improve power output flexibility and overall efficiency. For fuel cell electric vehicles, this technology adopts numerous constraints based on power source characteristics (SOC, SOH, temperature, accessory power consumption, etc.), usage constraints (power change rate, fuel cell/battery failure status), etc., as the inputs for the optimal power distribution surveying method. Also, a bidirectional output controllable power module has been applied to realize the aforementioned power distribution strategy which improves the overall energy efficiency of fuel cell vehicles.

•The optimal deployment method of dual power sources can be optimized based on power source characteristics (efficiency, internal resistance, etc.) and usage scenarios.

    •Load end output: 230V, 20A (approximately 4.6kW) 

    •CAN communication interface can monitor power status and power distribution ratio commands.

This technology can be applied in the electric vehicle with multiple energy sources, such as fuel cell electric vehicle or solar-powered electric vehicle.

Due to limitations of battery technology, electric vehicles still need to be improved in terms of charging time and mileage. Although the use of multiple power sources can improve the aforementioned problems, this technology can also appropriately adjust the output ratio of each power source according to factors such as component characteristics and usage scenarios, thereby improve the overall power usage efficiency and the vehicle performance.
