Magnetic Virtual Rail Control Techniques(2023)
Magnetic virtual rail control system improves RTK and SLAM positioning error by using ground magnetic signals. It enhances the accuracy and reliability of autonomous vehicle positioning, overcoming challenges in any weather and obstructed environments. This system employs a magnetic sensor for real-time positioning, and used RFID & tags for road information. An Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) calculates the vehicle's direction and distance, ensuring precise trajectory control. This technique enables autonomous vehicles to operate effectively in adverse conditions, reducing reliance on GPS and expanding autonomous vehicle applicability.
