Technique Features:

Simple Emission Measurement System (SEMS) technique collects data of the concentration of NOx and O2, exhaust mass flow, intake air temperature and environmental humidity to estimate the consumption of fuel and pollution emissions include cumulative mass of CO2 and NOx by stoichiometric theory. SEMS also combines GPS that determine the vehicle location and speed to calculate the average consumption of fuel and pollution emissions. SEMS can real-time transmit relevant data to monitoring system by 4G communication modules. In the future, SMES can be used to monitor the emission, to measure fuel consumption, to evaluate total emission of mobile source and to investigate carbon emissions of vehicles.
