Integration Technique for Lane Following System and Autonomous Emergency Braking System

Year:
2016
Category:
Imaged assist technology
Technique Features:

The LFS is an actively advanced safety system which is mounted camera on the front-end windscreen to detect the lane lines and distinguish the lateral deviation. It can actively control the vehicle steering mechanism to keep driving way constantly. Therefore, LFS raises driving safety by reducing driver fatigue. By analyzing signals from radar and camera sensor, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system can identify the collisions and control the braking system automatically to prevent accidents. The system consists of millimeter wave radar which can detect obstacles in long distance and a wide-angle image recognition module which aims at identifying the kind of the detected object.

Specification:

1.Vehicle Speed ︰0~120kph.
2.Lane Detecting area︰0~30m.
3.Obstacle Detecting area︰5~100m.
4.Curve Radius:above 250m.
5.Obstacle Detecting correct rate : above 95 %.
6.Obstacle detection error:±2m.

Applications:

Intelligent Vehicle Safety System.

Benefit:

Vehicle active safety technology will be a trend in the future as the requirement from drivers in front safety. By the development of vehicle collision-avoidance technology, it will help the domestic automotive industry level up to high-market-value active safety field, and the market benefit will be increased.
