Technique Features:

Through the verification technique, engineers can verify the effectiveness of the function of Pedestrian on AEB system by installing the test devices (steering, brake, and accelerating control devices, RTK DGPS, vehicle performance measuring devices) in the tested vehicle, and the pedestrian dummies and its flat belt propulsion system. Besides, this verification technique can also apply to the AEB Pedestrian function assessment released by Euro-NCAP in 2016.

Specification:

1.Verification Platform: Including a set of Steering Robot, Brake Robot, Acceleration Robot, a set of RTK DGPS, and a Euro NCAP pedestrian dummy and its propulsion system, Dynamic platform.
2.Test Standard/Protocol: Euro NCAP Test Protocol(AEB VRU Pedestrian).

Applications:

Passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.
