The present invention provided a method and a system of the state of heath of the battery. The method utilizesdiscrete quantization algorithm to estimate the state of health of the battery, wherein the standard deviations of the voltages is calculated according to the loop voltage of the battery, and comparing the rated discharge capacity and the standard deviations of the voltages for estimating the state of heath of the battery.
