The present disclosure provides an intersection speed deciding method.  The intersection speed deciding method includes a dataset obtaining and calculating step.  In the dataset obtaining and calculating step, judge whether an approaching vehicle is expected to pass through a point of an intersection, and obtain a first arrival time when the approaching vehicle is expected to pass through the point.  Judge whether a preceding vehicle is in a host route of a host vehicle, and obtain a second arrival time when the preceding vehicle is expected to pass through the point.  Judge whether the host vehicle is expected to wait for a red light, and obtain a red light period.  The host vehicle has a best arrival time and an expected arrival time for each point.  A time difference exits between the best arrival time and the expected arrival time.  Minimize each time difference based on the first arrival time, the second arrival time and the red time period.  The intersection speed deciding method further includes a speed adjusting step to adjust or remain a speed of the host vehicle based on the expected arrival time.  Therefore, the host vehicle can pass through the intersection safely and efficiently.
