A setting up method for sound parameters of the degree of solidness in impact sound is disclosed, which is to quantify the sound generated by the impact into concrete sound parameters of the degree of solidness, which can objectively express the characteristics of the impact sound. The sound parameters of the degree of solidness set up by the present method comprises: a degree-of-solidness parameter in frequency domain (SF) to express the frequency characteristics of sound; a degree-of-solidness parameter in time domain (ST) to express the characteristics of sound attenuating with time; a degree-of-solidness parameter in frequency domain and in time domain (SFT) to express the situation of sound coupling with frequency and time. Using the physical meaning and message revealed from each degree-of-solidness parameter, the judgment basis for modifying the sound characteristics of members during analysis and modification can be provided.
