ARTC Electric Vehicle Charging Station

ARTC established the first multi-function EV(Electric Vehicle) charging station in Taiwan. This charging station has several mainstream charger interfaces of the world. The AC charging including Taiwan CNS(Chinese National Standards), USA SAE standard, Europe IEC type 2(International Electrotechnical Commission) standard, China GB/T standard. The DC charging including Japan CHAdeMO, USA CCS1(Combined Charging System 1) and Europe CCS2(Combined Charging System 2). It also has household socket (110 V / 220 V) for electric scooter charging, and has circuit Breaker(220 VAC / 380 VAC three-phase, rated current 120 A) for self-contained charger. The charging station provides a both safe and convenient charging environment for EVs that testing in ARTC.

Facilities

The ARTC charging station includes mainstream charger interfaces:


(1) Taiwan CNS 15511-2 AC type 2B interface. The output voltage is 220 VAC , maximum output current is 80A


(2) USA SAE J1772 – AC interface. The output voltage is 220 VAC, maximum output current is 30A.


(3) China GB/T 20234.2-2015– AC interface. The output voltage is 220 VAC, maximum output current is 30A.


(4) Eurpo IEC 62196-2 Type 2– AC interface. The output voltage is 220 VAC, maximum output current is 16A.  


(5) Japan CHAdeMO – DC interface. The output voltage is 150~500V, maximum output current is 120A.


(6) China GB/T 20234.3-2015 – DC interface. The output voltage is 300~750V, maximum output current is 200A.


(7) USA CCS1 – DC interface. The output voltage is 200~800V, maximum output current is 200A.


(8) Europe CCS2 – DC interface. The output voltage is 150~950 V, maximum output current is 200 A.
