    In Taiwan, the automated driving-related industry is still at the initial stage. Based on the experiences in developing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), ARTC is familiar with sensor fusion and collision avoidance system design including autonomous cruise control (ACC) system, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system, lane keeping assist (LKA) system, lane change system(LCS) , half lane change system(HLC) . ARTC has the ability to help domestic companies develop the fixed-route autonomous vehicles and the automated driving system. By organizing ultrasonic sensors, image sensors, automatic vehicle location detectors, the internet of vehicles (IoV) and vehicle dynamic control algorithm into a system, an automated driving system (ADS) can be constructed. The automated driving system can automatically detect its surroundings including the barricade, lane stripes, etc. It also has the ability to decide what to do in the next moment, which means the automated driving system not only completely control the vehicle but also give its surroundings a response like ACC, AEB , LKA,LCS,HLC systems. Moreover, by introducing GPS sensors, IMU sensor, April Tags, and map data, positioning error can be less than 50cm, the ADS system can calculate vehicle dynamics and completely control the vehicle driving in a fixed route. In order to promote vehicle safety and its convenience, ARTC would like to help domestic companies produce high added value manufactures by improving or assisting the automated driving system design such as vehicle dynamic control system, vehicle positioning system, the sensor detection system, etc.
