- Technique Features：
Our vehicle positioning system integrates the odometer, which is originally mounted on the vehicle, and vision-based positioning system of lidar sensor. By using the information from odometer, system can estimate the current position of vehicle continuously. On the other hand, using vision-based positioning system of lidar with map can reduce and correct the cumulative error of our vehicle positioning system while utilizing odometer to estimate the vehicle position. According to above two methods, our system enhances not only the accuracy but also the reliability of vehicle positioning information.
1. Information providing Data rate: 10 Hz
2. Accuracy: positioning error 0.30% per 1000m.
