  • Technique Features:

    Multi-sensor Driver Monitoring System with highly stability is established based on physiology, image detection and vehicle signals to monitor for driving abnormal behavior or physiological abnormalities. The system can sense advance and send warning signal to reduce accidental happening which can improve driving safety before drivers occur sudden illness. The system is used to the general vehicle, and also can be integrated to facilitate the management of vehicle fleet.

  • Specification:

    1.Imgae processing rate: Above 10 frame/sec.
    2.Hardware: Wearable physiological derive, DSP platform (clock rate: 600MHz), camera (NTSC or PAL), infrared.
    3.Interface: CAN BUS (speed, indicator and gear position, steering angle).
    4.Operating temperature: -40°C~85°C.
    5.Operating current:ECU(12V, 300mA), camera(12V, 120mA).
    6.Operation environment:both daytime and nighttime (above 0.1 lux.).
    7.Warning condition: the driver’s heart rate,SaO2 and HRV is abnormal(tachycardia or bradycardia). the driver’s frontal face disappeared in a reason area and vehicle shows signal abnormity. the driver’s behavior is abnormal(on the phone or smoke).
    8.Warning mode:LED lighting and buzzer sound.

    Driver status monitoring system with highly stability is established based on physiology, image detection and vehicle signals. The system can sense advance and send warning signal to reduce accidental happening which can improve driving safety before drivers occur sudden illness. Development of Driver status monitoring system not only can improve vehicle safety system entering pre-warning system market, but also can integrate to wearable devices to provide highly added value for traffic transport industry.
