Active State of Health Dynamic Estimation Technique

  • Technique Features:

    The developed estimating algorithm is designed to acquire the parameters, such as voltage and current, and then calculate the state of health during the charging phase. Because the proposed technique can be applied during charging, the stat of charge could be updated immediately and the energy management system could provide more accurate estimation of the mileage. The technology could be installed in the battery management system and executes the estimation based on the original signal interface and the charger.

    Error rate < ±8% @ SOH >70%.

    Electronic Vehicle, Energy Management System, Energy Storage System.

  • Benefit:

    With the proposed method, the electric vehicle user or the manufacturer of battery exchange station could continuously receive more accurate status of degradation and effective capacity. The information could help raising the reliability of mileage to the users.
