  • Technique Features:

    The technique would make use of NOX sensor and exhaust mass flow sensor to develop Simple Emission Measurement System (SEMS).SEMS uses stoichiometric theory to estimate the consumption of fuel and pollution emissions which include cumulative mass of CO2 and NOX by inputting volume concentration of NOX and O2, and exhaust gas flow. This technique can be verified by comparing the estimation of SEMS with the data which is measured in laboratory. The result of comparison shows that the error include fuel consumption, CO2 emission and NOX emission between the data of gas analyzer and the estimation of SEMS is <2.8%, <1.7% and <12.6%.
