  • Technique Features:

    Multi-signal optical biomedical sensing system installed on the steering wheel combines light-condensing biomedical sensor technology and biomedical parameter analysis technology which real-time monitoring the driver's heart rate and oxygen saturation. When the driver biomedical parameters are not normal, the system will alert and warn, thereby reduce the incidence of traffic accidents.

    1.Light source (wavelength): 660nm (red light), 940nm (infrared light)
    2.Photodiode (wavelength range): 350nm ~ 1100nm
    3.Measurement parameters: heart rate (HR), oxygen saturation concentration (SPO2)
    4.Light pack (Diameter) ≦ 3mm
    5.Optical efficiency ≧ 65%
    6.Heart rate, oxygen saturation measured static accuracy: ≧ 80%

  • Benefit:

    Multi-signal optical biomedical sensing system provides reminder and warning to the driver when the driver's biomedical parameters are not normal, which can achieve comprehensive biomedical parameter monitoring, and thus enhance road safety. The system can assist biomedical industry and automotive electronics industry to establish driver's biomedical monitoring system design capabilities and new product development to expand the driver monitoring systems market.
