Features

The IEPB system consists of a control unit and an actuator powered by an electric motor. Instead of pushing a pedal or yanking on a handle to set the parking brake, the IEPB system enables the driver to apply or to release the parking brake by touching a button, or it can work automatically. The IEPB system also can support multiple intelligent functions by being integrated with some sensors of the vehicle, and also can execute the “Auto Hold” feature, which prevents the vehicle from rolling away accidentally when standing still or when setting off, due to the short enough activated time. The more competitive IEPB will be carried out via cooperating with the carmaker and tier-1 supplier and have the opportunity to join global supply chains.The main functions of IEPB system are as follows: 1.Automatically activated when the ignition key is removed 2.Automatically released when the vehicle is started up 3.Automatically activated when the vehicle is stopped (Auto Hold) 4.Help the vehicle start up without rolling backwards on hills 5.Two-stage parking brake force 6.Just the right amount of applied force generated every time
